With the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) expiring in 2015, the post-2015 development agenda is very much at the forefront of current discussion and debate. A recent article from Edinburgh University researchers, Professor James Smith and Dr Emma Taylor in PLOS: Neglected Tropical Diseases entitled “MDGs and NTDs: Reshaping the Global Health Agenda” highlights NTDs and the hope that in the post-2015 development agenda these will be given special mention.
